The power of sound to heal you and the world
Sound has been used for thousands of years to heal the sick
The Effects of Frequencies
We live in a world full of so many different electromagnetic frequencies. The effects from cell phones, 5G, radio signals, electrical appliances, WiFi, and others, may throw us out of alignment. This can cause stress, fatigue and many more problems. However, sound frequency can alleviate those effects, and help you move into a balanced and harmonious state.
Diseases and viruses operate on extremely low frequencies. By raising your own frequency, you become more immune to these threats. Unfortunately though, some places in the world operate at lower frequencies than others. Have you ever walked into a hospital, shopping mall, night club, or prison and felt that? Fear, pain, resentment, irritation, and rage – they all create lower frequencies. But love, gratitude, compassion, and kindness, all operate at much higher frequencies. By simply playing uplifting music in these spaces it can shift the energy drastically.
I have created this Spotify playlist titled “From Fear to Love” to invite you to listen and see how the music makes you feel. One of my favourite morning practices is to hit shuffle and see what song plays. I allow the music to move me in the way it needs to. Such a powerful practice.
“Allow the healing power of sound to transform your state of being from the inside out.”
Sound as a Healing Tool
Did you know that there is a an electromagnetic pulse surrounding the earth called the Schuman Resonance? It is considered the heartbeat of our planet, vibrating at a pulse of 7.83 Hz (the same frequency as the sound of OM and the brain!) When we go off balance, this frequency does too. It will be interesting to watch how all the current changes in the world impact this.
Sound healing is a powerful therapy for everything from anxiety, to sleep disorders. Every cell, organ and bone in your body has its own frequency. When they are in tune, they play in perfect harmony like an orchestra, when out of tune, it’s a big mess.
The effects of sound has been tested in many ways, but my favorite is the tests done on water. You see when you play uplifting music, the molecules of water form beautiful shapes. With dark music it does the opposite. As we are made up of so much water, our bodies react in the same way.
I created a Spotify playlist titled “From Fear to Love” to uplift your spirits and take you on a journey with me. The songs have been my medicine through lightest and darkest moments over the past few years, especially at this time. Hit shuffle and see what magic awaits. This is one of my favourite things to do. Even if it’s just one a song day. Allow the perfect song to come to you in each moment you need it. Maybe you want to dance, sing, cry, laugh, scream or bliss out; whatever comes through fully feel the emotions in your body.
Sending you so much love
